Age of Empires - RTS - 1997

The original title in the Age of Empires series. The original title maintains a competitive scene in Vietnam, but most players switched to AoE2. A Definitive Edition is available on Steam, but it does not receive regular updates anymore. The AoE2:DE expansion "Rise of Rome" is a remake of AoE1 in the AoE2 engine, which received some additional balance updates.
