Arthur C. Clarke (1917-2008) was one of the most popular science fiction writers of the 20th century. His short stories have been collected in various anthologies, this page should help show the collections available, but the largest collection, 'The Collected Stories of Arthur C. Clarke', covers nearly all of his short stories and is available in print in paperback. Clarke is most famous for his Space Odyssey series, the first two, 2001 and 2010 have been adapted into movies. There's also an underrated sequel trilogy, Time Odyssey.

Clarke appeared in the 1988 documentary God, The Universe and Everything Else, along with Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking. Clarke also hosted a BBC TV series called Arthur C. Clarke's Mysterious World in 1980, which is available on youtube. The sequel series Arthur C. Clarke's World of Strange Powers was broadcast in 1985, and also available on youtube. This was followed by a third series on Discovery Channel called Arthur C. Clarke's Mysterious Universe which was broadcast in 1994, and is available on youtube.
